Or, what value if any was there in brokering the Abraham Accords, taking steps that enabled the lowest unemployment among persons of color, sponsoring criminal justice reform that enabled young black men to avoid prison, using our power overseas to prevent wars, shutting down the infiltration of woke ideology throughout our federal government, all but stopping the flow of undocumented and unvetted people at our Southern Border, demanding the NATO parties to meet their financial obligations, or appointing Supreme Court Justices who enabled us to take a large step toward halting the killing of millions of unborn children, to name a few matters of substance.
The candle analogy is apt but not for the reasons you assume. Joe Biden has done more substantively to imperil our country's welfare than any president in history. For example, he weaponized the federal law enforcement to round up, hold without bail, and then punish those who stood around on Jan 6 while doing nothing about the criminals who burned our cities and killed people the summer of 2020. He opened the Southern Border while telling us the border is closed and secure. He funneled millions of dollars to Iran in a misguided effort to renew the nuclear deal.
All that without even a nod to his inability to speak a complete sentence without being told by his minders what to say.
